This is our 3rd but the most radical home remodel projects and we are so blessed to have Volker on board! His professionalism and knowledge is the best out of all the architects we have experienced. But what makes Volker really stand out, is that he really cares about delivering the vision and the creativity this project required, with as much enthusiasm and excitement as we do. This is what truly makes a difference between delivering a project vs delivering a home that we love. We feel really supported by Volker throughout the entire process. Without doubt, the relationship and trust built whilst working on a project as important as your home is essential, and I truly wouldn't ever look anywhere else for architectural services. We had previously worked with Volker on an extension in our previous home. Our shared vision made him an obvious choice when looking for a trusted partner for the new house we were planning. Volker has a speciality for contemporary design, working closely with us to maximise the use of the plot and taking into consideration the flow of the home and our family needs. Volker really took the time to understand our brief, taking on board any thoughts and ideas we may have, often developing them and adding a 'touch of magic' which really make the project exciting.

Engaging StudioGotz was absolutely one of the best decisions that we ever made, to help make the project such a success! We've worked with Volker (Studio Gotz) for the last 18 months now on a contemporary new build 5 bedroom home in Solihull. We selected Volker because, for us, he provided us with an incredibly exciting vision for our new home (one we simply could not have imagined ourselves) and at rates that were competitive compared to larger architectural practices. Studio Gotz have been excellent to work with throughout - always helpful, transparent and professional. Whether it was helping with tricky planning challenges in a conservation area, through to extra details needed on-site, Volker and his team have been first class at all times. We really would encourage anyone else seeking a modern, forward-thinking architect to consider their practice. They always seem to go above and beyond and truly care about every last detail, from the 1st meeting to the very end of the project.

Greenhill Road Extension
We are delighted with the end result and can’t fault Volker for his attention to detail and his ability to meet deadlines and work to the budget we set. Volker Gotz was a pleasure to deal with on our project. He was professional and really listened to what we wanted to achieve. The design element of our project included some challenging aspects given that part of the brief was to design a bedroom and wet room for our disabled daughter on the ground floor. We wanted a space which worked practically for her needs but which also fitted in with the rest of the contemporary design of the open plan living space which Volker also designed. We would not hesitate to use him again and would highly recommend him based on our experience.
Rosemary Hill Road Remodel & Extension
We wanted to have our very own Grand Designs in suburbia, and that's what we got with Volker's help. We didn't want the same as everybody else, but were really keen to modernise our dated 70's house, with really interesting and unusual architectural features, that added value to our property. The best thing I think I can say is that we have an awesome looking house - but most importantly it works for us as a family - making us smile when we get home and happy whilst we are in it. Thanks Volker for helping us realise our long held ambitions!
