A home re-tuned for sea-gazing.
Full refurbishment and extensions project to transform a dated 1960’s dwelling into a contemporary home focused on magnificent coastal views.
On opposing sides, a new bedroom was added over the existing kitchen, and a walk-in wardrobe with en suite was added over the garage to serve the master bedroom. A new balcony links the additions and shelters the main entrance beneath. Internal remodelling and rear extension provides an open plan kitchen diner on a split level, with an integrated lounge.
Views out to the sea were maximised by breaking down the rear elevation, whilst threading folding planes to provide balconies and canopies for shading. Outside living revolves around a stepped terrace that hosts an outside kitchen, dining, seating and a hot tub.
The proposals sailed through the planning process, with permission being granted in 2024. The technical design will be issued for tender in due course.
